The Hamilton Swim Set sewing pattern from Style Arc. A versatile one-piece and two-piece swimwear pattern with mix-and-match options.
Choose from a square neck, V-neck or daring plunge, add a shelf bra for extra support (including a D+ cup option), and customise your fit with high or low-waisted bottoms and high or low-cut legs.
With options for a fully lined swimsuit or an unlined version with a gusset, Hamilton is perfect for creating a modern, supportive swimsuit you can tailor to your own style.
Note: Style Arc patterns are suited to a more confident maker. The written instructions are not illustrated at each step.
Sewing level: Intermediate
Suggested fabrics:
Main: Swimwear fabric with four-way 40-65% stretch, such as lycra, nylon, polyamide with elastane/spandex.
Lining: Power mesh, lycra, nylon, polyamide, elastane/spandex.
Fabric requirements:
One-piece or two-piece with high waist: 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 0.9 - 1 m (1 - 1.1 yd).
Two-piece with low waist: 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 0.8 - 1 m (0.9 - 1.1 yd).
Crop top only: 148 cm (58") wide fabric: 0.4 - 0.5 m (0.5 - 0.6 yd).
Sizing: 4 – 16 or 18 – 30 (approx. UK 4/6 – 16/18 or UK 18/20 – 32, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer's size chart and finished garment measurements.
Notions: Two spools of matching thread for the twin needle; 6 mm (1/4") swimwear elastic or knit elastic; 25 mm (1") swimwear elastic or knit elastic for the crop underbust.
Shipping & Despatch
We aim to despatch all in stock orders received before midday Monday-Friday on that same day. Orders received after midday on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.
We like to give you all available options for your delivery costs so you have the freedom to choose the best option for you.
At checkout you’ll be able to choose from;
Royal Mail 1st Class - Large Letter if your order is under 100g.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - Aims to deliver Next Day, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 - Aims for a two day delivery, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
DHL 24/48 - Aims to deliver within 24 hours but can sometimes be 48 hours.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail or DHL depending on the weight and location
Returns / Terms and Conditions

Returns are accepted but you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and state the reason for your return. Fabrics will only be refunded if they are received back to us in the original condition and must not have been cut or pre washed.
Please send clear photographs if there are any issues or damage to your fabrics to sales@littlelegsfabrics.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving the fabric.
Refunds will only be provided for the fabric and not the shipping costs unless your fabric is damaged. Returns must be paid for by the customer unless the fabric is damaged or incorrect in any way.
All fabrics are cut and measured by hand, as such there can sometimes be an under or over cut of up to 3cm, in this case, a refund or exchange will not be offered. If you feel your fabric has been under cut by more than 3cm, please send us an email.
