Paper Sewing Pattern
The Leyton Knit Tank and Dress sewing pattern from Liesl + Co. This knit tank top or dress is designed for lightweight to medium weight knit fabrics, particularly cotton jersey. It features a comfortable, streamlined silhouette that's fitted at the bust and looser over the waist and hips. The neckline and armholes are finished with a self binding that uses a unique method to reduce bulk and make the sewing process easy. The straps themselves are wide enough to cover bra straps, but the style is still effortless and breezy. It's a great wardrobe essential and a good starting point for customising as well. Sew the top (View A) to wear on its own or as a layering piece, or choose the dress (View B) as an easy to wear and versatile style. This pattern includes cup sizes to help you get a great fit.
Sewing level: Confident beginner
Suggested fabrics: Knit jersey fabric with at least 25% stretch.
Fabric requirements:
View A: 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 yd (0.9 m).
View B: 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 1 1/2 - 1 3/4 yd (1.4 - 1.6 m).
Sizing: XS – XXL with A/B, C and D cups. Please check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
To determine cup size, subtract upper bust measurement from full bust measurement. Up to 2" difference = A/B cup, 3" = C cup, 4" = D cup.
Shipping & Despatch
We aim to despatch all in stock orders received before midday Monday-Friday on that same day. Orders received after midday on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.
We like to give you all available options for your delivery costs so you have the freedom to choose the best option for you.
At checkout you’ll be able to choose from;
Royal Mail 1st Class - Large Letter if your order is under 100g.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - Aims to deliver Next Day, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 - Aims for a two day delivery, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
DHL 24/48 - Aims to deliver within 24 hours but can sometimes be 48 hours.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail or DHL depending on the weight and location
Returns / Terms and Conditions

Returns are accepted but you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and state the reason for your return. Fabrics will only be refunded if they are received back to us in the original condition and must not have been cut or pre washed.
Please send clear photographs if there are any issues or damage to your fabrics to sales@littlelegsfabrics.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving the fabric.
Refunds will only be provided for the fabric and not the shipping costs unless your fabric is damaged. Returns must be paid for by the customer unless the fabric is damaged or incorrect in any way.
All fabrics are cut and measured by hand, as such there can sometimes be an under or over cut of up to 3cm, in this case, a refund or exchange will not be offered. If you feel your fabric has been under cut by more than 3cm, please send us an email.
