Limestone Leggings and Top sewing pattern from Sew Liberated. This fun and functional knit set is perfect for layering, lounging and moving.
With multiple views and leg lengths, the Limestone Leggings are an activewear workhorse for many seasons and activities. The curved pockets provide a playful and practical element, while the curved waistband and carefully placed seams support comfortable movement and offer colour blocking potential. The pattern also features a crotch gusset for increased comfort due to the reduction of bulky seams.
The Limestone Top is a super quick sew. Choose between high-back and scooped-back views; both look great under a Studio Tunic, Penny Pinafore or Otis Overalls in warm weather. Adding the optional wide elastic band transforms it into an easy sports bra.
Suggested fabrics: Medium- to heavy-weight knit fabrics with 50% stretch and a strong recovery (approx. 9-12 oz./250-350 gsm). For a sporty fit, the designer used heavy organic jersey. Other athletic knits like recycled polyester-spandex blends or nylon-spandex blends would work too. For softer loungewear, choose a medium weight knit fabric with rayon or bamboo content in addition to spandex/elastane.

Leggings View A: 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 30" inseam, 1.8 - 2.4 yd (1.7 - 2.2 m) // 28" inseam, 1.75 - 2.4 yd (1.6 - 2.2 m) // Capri, 1.6 - 2.2 yd (1.5 - 2 m) // 8" short, 1.2 - 1.7 yd (1.1 - 1.6 m).
Leggings View B (cuff): 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 30" inseam, 1.9 - 2.5 yd (1.7 - 2.25 m) // 28" inseam, 1.8 - 2.4 yd (1.7 - 2.2 m).
Leggings View C (shortie): 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 0.8 - 1.2 yd (0.75 - 1.1 m).
Top (all views): 58" (147 cm) wide fabric: 0.5 - 0.6 yd (0.5 m).
Sizing: US 0 – 34 (approx. UK 6/8 – 32/34, based on our standardised size chart). Please also check the designer’s size chart and finished garment measurements.
The pattern is drafted for a height of 5'5" (165 cm) and a dressmaker’s C-cup.
Notions: Stretch machine needle; polyester thread // Top: 1 1/2" elastic for View B; optional 1/4" (6 mm) elastic // Leggings: 1/4" (6 mm) elastic.
Shipping & Despatch
We aim to despatch all in stock orders received before midday Monday-Friday on that same day. Orders received after midday on Friday will be despatched on the following Monday.

Royal Mail 1st Class - Large Letter if your order is under 100g.
Royal Mail Tracked 24 - Aims to deliver Next Day, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
Royal Mail Tracked 48 - Aims for a two day delivery, Tracked service including text or email with delivery confirmation and tracking.
DHL 24/48 - Aims to deliver within 24 hours but can sometimes be 48 hours.
International orders are sent via Royal Mail or DHL depending on the weight and location
Returns / Terms and Conditions

Returns are accepted but you must contact us within 48 hours of receiving your order and state the reason for your return. Fabrics will only be refunded if they are received back to us in the original condition and must not have been cut or pre washed.
Please send clear photographs if there are any issues or damage to your fabrics to sales@littlelegsfabrics.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving the fabric.
Refunds will only be provided for the fabric and not the shipping costs unless your fabric is damaged. Returns must be paid for by the customer unless the fabric is damaged or incorrect in any way.
All fabrics are cut and measured by hand, as such there can sometimes be an under or over cut of up to 3cm, in this case, a refund or exchange will not be offered. If you feel your fabric has been under cut by more than 3cm, please send us an email.
